OK, well, you know what this is about don't you? Good. If you have any tips you want to have me add on, then e-mail me at: PeteFF7@yahoo.co.uk. But that doesn't include rumors, like: Kill Safer Sephiroth really quickly, and you will fight a demi-God named (damn it, what's his name) with half a million health. That's a load of Bull. I killed Safer in about three turns, and I never fought the guy.
Get Quad-Magic without a Chocobo: Go to where the cave containig Quad-Magic is, and head to the cliff. Now, turn the Highwind around, so it is facing the cave, and tell it to land. As your doing this, press Square and Forward at the same time. Most of the time, the Highwind will just take off again, but if you time it just right, either: a) The Highwind will land at the bottom of the cliff, allowing you to walk to the cave, or b) The Highwind will land at the top of the cliff, but you will be at the bottom of the cliff, allowing you to walk to the cave. It takes a lot of attempts to get right, but, well: Practice makes perfect.
Get Yuffie: Yuffie can be got on any island, on any disk, as long as you are in a forest. To get her, just run around until you fight a monster. 1 times out 5, you'll fight Yuffie. The battle ain't to hard, just keep hitting her. WHen you do beat her, go straight to Yuffie. Don't go to the save point. Doing so means you took your eyes off her, which allows her to run away (with some of you cash). When you do "reach" Yuffie, talk to her, and say the following to each of her questions:
Yuffie: "You spikey-headed jerk! One more time, let's go one more time!" Answer: "Not Interested."
Yuffie:"Your pretty scared of me huh!?" Answer"......petrified."
Yuffie:"I'm really gonna leave! REALLY!" Answer: "Wait a second!"
Yuffie:" You want me to go with you?" Answer:"......That's right."
Yuffie:"All right! I'll go with you!" Answer:"......Let's hurry on." That's it. After that, she'll join you - not that she's any good...
Get Vincent: Like Yuffie, Vince can be obtained on any disk. However, you can only do it in one place - the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim. First, you need to open the safe on the top floor. The dials can be found around the Mansion, but it takes to long, so just use these. Remember, you can't go past any numbers. Going to say Right 37, then going back one space to 36, would be Left 36, not Right 36, so the safe won't open: Right 36 Left 10 Right 59 Right 97 You'll then have to fight Lost Number. He's tough, so you'll want to save before you open the safe. You may also want to heal when your next to the safe, so you'll be at full health to fight to the boss. When you fight him, you should hit Lost Number with your strongest Spells, Summons, Limit Breaks and Attack (if it's strong). When Lost Number has lost about half of his heath, one half of it will die. If you hit him last with a Physical attack, the Magic/Red side will die. If you hit it with a spell the Physical/Purple side will die. If you are faced with the Physcial side, hit him with Magic attacks, and vice versa if you face the Magic side. He is still touigh. You may want to visit the boss after you have the Air Plane rather than during your first visit to Nibelheimn if you don't think you're strong enough to beat him.
The Midgar Key: On disk 2/3, head over to Midgar, and speak to the man outside. He'll say he lost the key at an excavation site, i.e Bone Village. Hop in the Highwind and fly over. Then, tell the manyou want to dig up Normal Treasure. The key can be found roughly where the Lunar Harp could be found, so try digging there. When you have the key, you can now eneter Midgar. You should be able to pick up Tifa's ultimate weapon, and browse around some of the places may have changed/got new items. And make sure you check a certain church... Note: If that doesn't work, select Good Treasure instead.
Unlimited Item Cheat: Equipt W-Item, go into battle and select the item you want copied. Use it and select another item (it can be any item). Then, press Cancel, and you should have cloned the first item - even if you used up the last one. Now repeate this process again, until you get bored, and use the second item. This is best used with X-Potions, Turbo Eithers, Elixirs, Mega-Elixirs and Sylkis Greens.
Tip - using the W-Item cheat with Sylkis Greens WILL save you a fortune!
Weaken Aire Tam Storm: Aire Tam Storm is affected by the amount of materia a charater has. It does 1111 damage, times the amount of mateia. E.g., if Cloud has 3 pieces of materia, it does 3333 damage. Also, spell Aire Tam backwords, and you get Materia. Clever ain't it?
Killing Emerald without an endless KoR chain: When it comes to killing Emerald, all tips say you need to use an endless chain of KoR. But that's not the only way. Try this: Give Cloud Quad-Demi3 and Mega All, and another guy/gal (who I will call x) Reflect-All. The other should have KoR, but only for backup. Now, have x cast Reflect-All on the team, and have Cloud use Quad-Demi3 on the team. All the Demi3s whould refelect to Emerald, casting 12 Demi3s on him. Since that all do 9999 damage to him, thats 1199888 worth of damage. Make sure that Mega All, Quad and All (the one in x) are at level 5, as you can do this five times. If Emerald still wants more, give him a few KoRs, and Multi-Hitting Limit breaks. A good choise is: Omni-Slash (Cloud), Highwind (Cid) and Catastrophe (Barret). Note: I haven't had chance to test this out yeat, as I don't have all the materia I need to try this. Oh, you will also want Pheonix and Final Attack in Cloud, x or the other character, incase Emerald get's a luck shot. This is 'cuase the team shouldn't have 9 pieces of Materia each for Air Tam Storm to do 9999 damage. Cool ain't it?
Because I have't tried it yet, it may not work. Try using Cure instead of Demi3, and use it against a weak moster at the start of the battle. If it works, then 12 cures will heal the monster. But, becuase it is at the start of the battle, it won't do anything.
Another thing - when you "run out" of Quad-Demi3, make sure atleast one charaacter has two piecesof materia and 9999HP. When EMERALD hits you with Aire Tam Storm, it should take that character's helth down to 7777, resulting in the legondary all 7 fever. Obviusly, this will only work if he/she has 9999HP when attacked by Aire Tam Storm. If not, and as long as the last two numbers are 77, and he/she has less then 7777 health, use potions and Hi-potions to heal to 7777.
If you have any tips you wana see, then e-mail them to me - oh and there are no cheats in FF7 - with the exception of the "Unlimited Item Cheat", which I've mentioned above. |
